The Baltimore Humane Society is dedicated to finding homes for over 1,000 animals every year. Once you think you have found your new life-long friend,
staff and volunteers will guide you through our adoption process, which includes completing an application form, being interviewed in person at the shelter,
and reference checks. If you see an animal on the website that you are interested in adopting, you must first visit the animal at the shelter and then fill
out the application.
Completed applications can be brought to the shelter or faxed to 443.650.0631. If faxing the application, please contact us within 24 hours
of sending the fax to confirm that it has been received. If you see an animal on the website that you are interested in adopting,
you must first visit the animal at the Animal Center before the application is placed on the animal. Please be advised that animal visits out of their
kennels and cages are until 5:30 p.m.
